Our 2024/25 season has had a number of great achievements. The strong performances across the club on the field of play could not have been achieved without the time and expertise provided by a range of our members on a voluntary basis. In this, National Volunteering Week, we want to acknowledge and thank all those members who volunteered and contributed across the season.

The season was not without its challenges and, as has been the case for the past few seasons, the resources were simply not there within the hockey club to progress every idea and project.

We are therefore asking all members who can, to volunteer even an occasional hour or two next season and help make the 2025/2026 season another great year for the club. We have vacancies and roles across communication, project planning, administration, finance and marketing as well as team based roles such as squad managers and team coordinators.

We’ve set a high bar performance wise to replicate next season. We continue to look for the support of you, our members, to help all everyone Develop, Enjoy and Excel at hockey in Railway Union.
