We are delighted to confirm that the hockey club will be re-entering a team into the Mens Veterans hockey league next season and fielding a team in combination with Blackrock RFC. After the success of the Womens Veterans team over the past few seasons and recognising the number of members aged over 35 (the qualifying age for Veterans or Masters Hockey), the club felt that it was now appropriate to enter a Mens Veterans team next season.

We are keen to ensure that we facilitate social and competitive hockey for all our members. As a number of members cannot commit to regular Saturday matches, the mid-week Veterans hockey matches will now provide an avenue for members to play together, play competitively and enjoy club hockey.

The Mens Veterans team is being organised by Philip Doak and Club Captain Fergus Flynn and we are keen to build a large squad for next season. So whether you've been playing reasonably regularly; not played for a while or are starting hockey - if you're over 35 and interested, get in touch via ruhcmenscaptain@gmail.com or doakey@gmail.com
