We are delighted to let our members know that we have a strong representation at the Womens European Nations Championships which kick off on 18 August in Monchengladbach in Germany.

Ruth Ann Gallagher and Niamh Kiernan have been selected for the Irish Hockey ID Team which will participate in the European Hockey ID Championships. This tournament will run alongside the Senior Women European championships at Gladbacher HTC, right beside the main stadium in Monchengladbach. This is a huge achievement for the players and indeed all our Railblazers and their families and we wish both girls and the team the very best.

In the Senior Womens Championships, the club is represented by Katie Mullan as Captain alongside Sarah Hawkshaw as well as Michelle Carey and Niamh Carey.

Ireland’s Pool B campaign begins on Friday 18th August 2023 with our opener against England starting at 16:00 Irish Time. The team is back in action the following evening Saturday 19th August against Scotland at 19:15 Irish Time and the group stages final game is on Tuesday 22nd August with a game against host nation Germany at 18:30 Irish Time.
