Railway will be running their primary school hockey camps in the mornings over Easter (4 days each week) from 9am to 1pm with 8.30am early drop off available on request.
The mornings are open to primary school from senior infants to 6th class girls and boys both club members and friends.
The morning sessions are very much hockey fun orientated but with skill development in a real fun / game based environment.
The senior school skills clinics are focused on technical skills that young hockey players don’t get enough to practice. Technical skills will include hitting techniques (full hit, reverse hit, clip hit) ball transfer techniques particularly push pass and Shooting skills learning to create space in the circle and shooting off the back foot.
During the senior skills clinics there will be specialist Goalkeeper coaching for senior school GKs of all standards and sessions will be tailored to the GK attending from representative standard to beginner we will have coaching groups to suit all.
