The Hockey Club AGM took place on Thursday 12th June and one of the clear actions for the club for 2025/2026 is that we need a greater contribution from our members, supporters and parents to help us better run the club. With that in mind, we are asking as many individuals as can make it to come down on the evening of Tuesday 8th July (7.30pm) to agree how best we can all lend a (small) hand to make the 2025/2026 and future seasons as successful and enjoyable as recent ones.

We have a tremendous group of members and supporters, players and parents within the hockey club and we are confident that a widened group carrying out some small tasks and actions can add up to a very material contribution.

We are not looking for full-time or part-time volunteers but rather "micro-volunteers" who might assist with a half hour here and there to keep projects on track and nudge along workgroups.

The AGM heard how our focus for 2025/2026 is to GROW. It heard how we need to grow our playing numbers, we need to strengthen our finances, we need to build greater connectivity across the club via more social events and how we need to develop our facilities. All of these cannot be achieved without a coordinated effort from our members, our supporters and parents.

We have a great club, we've achieved some superb performances on the pitch across our teams and now we need to up our game off the pitch. Hope to see you on the 8th.
