Cash4Clubs is a sports funding scheme giving clubs a unique chance to apply for grants to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, and invest in the sustainability of their club.
The Cash4Clubs scheme has given out sport grants to many deserving recipients in the past and is committed to funding even more sports clubs in the future.
In 2020 Railway Hockey club applied for funding to support our Sustainability programme and in particular to purchase on-field water sprinklers to minimise any off pitch drift. With a water based pitch there is a significant amount of water usage that could be minimised through more effective watering and using perimeter training zone ropes that maximise the amount of players able to train safely.
