The girls 6th class age group move to half pitch / Extreme 8 hockey on a half pitch with goalkeepers at this age group and they also move to a Sunday morning coaching slot.

Ex-Irish International Ciara O'Brien (155 caps from 2001 to 2009) will be the Lead coach for this age group and they will have a weekly coaching session Sundays 9am to 10am (meet time is 8.45am). This will be Ciara's first year with this age group and she will be joined by Suiun Woods, Hannah Rooney and Alex Gallagher this year. These coaches will then move along with the age group each year so the girls for continuity and familiarity and hopefully make it a much more enjoyable hockey journey at Railway Union.
This age group train at 9am to 10am every Sunday morning (meet time 9.45am), and matches will be on Sunday mornings too.
