Pitch Development

Seeking the assistance of our supporters to help fund the refurbishment of the pitch

We are embarking on an important (and overdue) development project to refurbish the hockey playing facilities at the club and need the assistance of our members, friends and supporters to make this happen.

Synthetic playing surfaces typically have an optimal lifespan of around 10 years and whilst the club has maintained the pitch since it was last refurbished in 2004, it is now in need of replacement.

We anticipate that the overall project cost will be in the region of €450,000. This will be financed by a combination of fundraising, borrowings and grants and we have set ourselves a fundraising target of €150,000.
